Comment

An adequate answer, but ideas need to be structured and points explained fully (AO1). Some understanding of context (AO4), but little analysis and it is heavy on generalisations. More specific examples are needed, e.g. How does Safie offer a different perspective? (AO3). Only one direct quotation from text and no analysis of language (AO2) and writing style is awkward with informal language (AO1).

For a C grade

  • Make the writing style smoother and more coherent in structure, avoiding the colloquial style.
  • Avoid generalisations and offer more in the way of specific analysis, with quotations.
  • Introduce some critical perspectives on the text.
