Comment

There are some good points here and the viewpoint is clear, but the style is rather informal. Opportunities for close language analysis are missed and there is a lack of technical vocabulary. There is some very basic reference to historical context.

For Grade 6

  • Develop the points in more detail
  • Focus more closely on the effects of language
  • Use more sophisticated expression and include technical vocabulary
  • Aim for a stronger conclusion
  • Include more reference to historical and social context
