This answer contains some good material, but could have more points and use quotation more. It skates round some answers and themes, and needs to be more direct.
For an A grade
- Include evidence for final point – that Curley 'won't ever get canned' (sacked), showing the injustice of the ranch hands' world.
- Show how he is responsible for his wife's behaviour.
- Emphasise his contribution to the theme of loneliness.
