Comment

This is a solid response in which the student supports his/her views with some well-chosen quotations. Occasionally, the points made are not supported by evidence, and whilst the answer is clear and well argued, there is not very much evidence of original, or alternative thinking. Perhaps more reference to Slim's majestic approach and understanding would also help.

For a B grade

  • Greater use of supporting evidence, i.e. quotation.
  • More focused analysis of language and its effects.
  • Develop final point about context and add a firmer conclusion based around Slim.
